About the Product Design Lead Role:
This is a great opportunity to lead and manage a team of designers responsible for the entire organisation's products and partner closely with the product manager and engineering leaders to define a UI/UX strategy for their products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the team to utilise a user-centred approach to solve design challenges and support business needs
• Be the voice of customers in setting company strategy. Be part of a strategic leadership discussion to define the company's direction, priorities and focus
• Influence and compellingly communicate the vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders
• Build strong partnerships across disciplines, such as design, product, engineering, and marketing in order to solve complex UX design problems across multiple channels
• Collaborate closely with product managers to find opportunities for new products/features and validate assumptions through user testing and research

To succeed in this Product Design Lead role, you must have the ability to lead effectively, have a keen understanding of UI/UX and excellent communication skills.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of five years of experience in product design and design leadership experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/design/HCI or other relevant fields
• Experience in hiring and growing teams as you will be managing a team of product designers
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement efforts
• Previous service-focused design experience
