Head of Data

An attractive and challenging Head of Data job has just become available at a logistics tech firm. You will be supporting this logistics tech company to pivot their data cores.

About the Head of Data Role:
Joining an emerging leader in the logistics tech industry as the Head of Data, you will be a strategic and focused data leader who is ready to build and own the data road map including creation of exceptional processes and policies to service growing data requirements. The role reports to the CEO and/or Head of Tech.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the data team to meet company's needs for both external and internal objectives and goals
• Work closely with the data analytic team to help define, design and build the reporting/data infrastructure
• Provide guidance to the team and deliver clean call-to-action exercises
• Create best practice processes and journey, define most suited business questions, data modelling, preparation, and analyse hypothetical answers
• Foster collaboration between the data team and other internal teams

To succeed in this Head of Data role, you will need to have solid leadership and people management skills in the aim of creating a long-term view of healthy work culture and flow with the company.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of experience working in data analytic or science
• Bold in data analytic and data science, compared to data engineering
• Able to develop data architecture based on data analysis and create most efficient work flow
• Experience with data/scripting/programming tools
• Highly strategic and commercial, but still a hands-on data leader
