Our client is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Jakarta. This role is pivotal in bridging the gaps between core infrastructure, security, QA and development teams. You will be responsible for the end-to-end availability and performance of applications and their infrastructure, providing 24x7 support. What you'll do:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's technical operations. You will bridge the gap between various teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Your responsibilities will include owning the end-to-end availability of applications, providing round-the-clock support, and automating processes wherever possible. You'll also be tasked with onboarding new applications, identifying potential issues within the existing infrastructure, managing outages effectively, and conducting thorough root cause analyses.

• Bridge the gaps between core infrastructure, security, QA and development teams.
• Own the end-to-end availability and performance of applications and their infrastructure.
• Provide 24x7 infra & app support.
• Automate and improve development and release processes.
• Create, manage and maintain the entire infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Onboard new applications with the production readiness review process.
• Work closely with the Development Team to understand the application architecture and its bottlenecks.
• Identify observability gaps in application & infrastructure and work with stakeholders to fix them.
• Manage outages and conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) with developers.
• Automate repetitive tasks.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior DevOps Engineer role will bring a wealth of experience in managing high traffic, large-scale microservices and infrastructure. You will have proven skills in troubleshooting, managing and deploying containerized environments using Docker/containers. Your expertise in Kubernetes/Openshift environments, helm charts, Linux administration, and cloud solutions such as AWS will be essential to your success in this role. Additionally, your familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, and scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Go will be highly valued.

• 6-8 years of experience in managing high traffic, large-scale microservices and infrastructure.
• Experience in troubleshooting, managing and deploying containerized environments using Docker/containers.
• 5 years of working experience on Kubernetes/Openshift environments.
• 2-3 years of experience working with helm charts.
• Extensive experience with Linux administration.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as NewRelic, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
• Expertise in GitOps, Infrastructure as a Code tool such as Terraform etc.
• Expertise in AWS Cloud or other relevant Cloud Infrastructure solutions.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab etc.
• Good command over any of the DevOps scripting languages (Bash / Python / Go).
