A DevOps Specialist (Banking/Fintech) job has become available at a foreign IT consulting company focused on banking and fintech (fully remote from Indonesia).
About the DevOps Specialist (Banking/Fintech) Role:
You will be joining their tech team who highly passionate in building and implementing future technology for their banking/fintech partners. This is a fully remote working arrangement in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and further implement Amazon Web Services (AWS) and complex Java applications for the bank's specialist departments
- Train colleagues on-the-job in the field of AWS
- Conceptualise software solutions, documentation and maintenance of software projects
- Analyse existing systems and create suitable measures for modernisation
- Create interfaces to the business process digitisation
To succeed in this DevOps Specialist (Banking/Fintech) role, you need to be able to take charge for the (further) development of existing and new applications.
Key Requirements:
- At least one completed apprenticeship as an application developer or comparable including practical experience or a degree in computer science
- Practical experience with tools and frameworks such as Git, Maven, Docker, IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation), SpringBoot and Hibernate
- Expertise in software tests, e.g. E.g .: JUnit or other test frameworks
- Know how in conception and development of application architectures as well as basic knowledge of relational database systems based on SQL
- Willingness to familiarise oneself with complex banking-specific topics in the English language
