An outstanding and exciting Head of Business Development and Partnerships (InsurTech) job has just become available in one of the well recognised insurance tech companies in Indonesia.

About the Head of Business Development and Partnerships (InsurTech) Role:
Reporting to the VP of Business, you will build and lead the the specific insurance product business team that enables the company to developing the dedicated new business in achieving the targeted market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire, liaise and maintain relationships with new merchants relating to the company's specific insurance product and services
  • Source and develop relationships and opportunities for company in the target markets and driving demand to grow company's revenue streams
  • Develop product division to identify and scope product enhancements to identify potential ancillary product sales opportunities
  • Leading both the partnership acquisition and retention team to build relationships and helping secure new agreement with new partners to assure pipeline of new opportunity
  • Managing preparation of business cases including P&L and cash flows in relation to new opportunities

To succeed in this Head of Business Development and Partnerships (InsurTech) role, you must possess the ownership to represent the company at events across industry bodies with insurance tech networks.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable university with major in business or equivalent
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in the insurtech industry, preferably in a sales and/or sales support capacity, along with mandatory people management experience
  • Mandatory experience handling B2B and B2C digital insurance related business
  • Fluency in English is a must - both verbal and written English skills
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assesses, recognise and reward performance
  • Excellent negotiating, influencing, communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to demonstrate strong organisation and prioritisation skills within sales and relationship management environment
