Senior Frontend Engineer

A rapidly expanding legal tech company is looking for a talented candidate to take on a Senior Frontend Engineer job in Jakarta. In this job, you will develop and be responsible for all frontend related requirement.

About the Senior Frontend Engineer Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, you will play a key role in the frontend team’s continued development and success in the Jakarta office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing frontend web architecture and extending frontend components
• Ensuring responsiveness and scalability of applications. Collaborating with others engineers and another stakeholders to improve usability and be responsible for visual elements that our users can interact with
• Understanding and translating business requirements into a functional and appealing interactive application
• Owning parts of the system and continuously work to improve them in an agile environment performance

To succeed in this Senior Frontend Engineer role you must have the ability to possess a keen understanding of frontend, experience in UI/UX, with great communication and teamwork skills.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related major with at least three years of experience in web frontend development using VueJS, ReactJS, Svelte (based on priority), along with its state management implementations e.g. Vuex, Redux, Cookies, etc.
• Good understanding in using NuxtJs, NextJS (based on priority) Frameworks, including its life cycle and component-based architecture
• Solid Javascript skills and foundational understanding of how the web works, in particular how JS, HTML and CSS interacts with each other
• Experience and a solid understanding of RESTful API
• Excellent understanding on what quality code is and how to achieve them in a frontend application
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Node, etc.
• Experience in using Tailwind or Bootstrap and cloud environments
• Exposure to UI/UX is an added value
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
