Data Engineer

About the Data Engineer Role:
You will build and improve the Data Platform while assisting the Analytics team for discovery of insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support data analyst as part of BAU, and assist on ad hoc requests from other departments and/or business units
• Actively work with the other analytics teams to enable the continuous discovery of data assets
• Analyse the requirement to improve the Data Platform

To succeed in this Data Engineer role, you must be equipped with strong technical skills in data engineering, with experience in the tech stacks used.

Key Requirements:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or any other related field
• Experience in RDBMS (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Postgre, etc.), programming (e.g. Python, Java, C#, etc.), and ETL frameworks (e.g. Talend, SSIS, Airflow, Hadoop, etc.)
• At least one year's experience in handling Big Data environments
• Experience in building data lake/warehouse solutions, consisting of structured and unstructured data
• Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
