About the Data Engineering and Insights Lead Role:
You will be building and grooming your own data engineering and analytics team while creating new features and ensuring that the current codes are well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve leads from data predictions and modelling
• Plan, build, and model data to generate the insights needed by the business
• Implement roll out to the company's subsidiaries (business units)
• Implement management dashboard for SMI
• Perform DaaS integration with the company's financial hub to support data monetisation goals
• Build and maintain relationships with the group of companies to ensure AID can provide the products/data needed by the company and ensure the security of the data provided
• Ensure that data governance roles run correctly
• Make coaching and development of the ranks of employees under his responsibility
• Conduct regular and periodic performance monitoring and reviews to ensure the achievement of work targets
• Create a work plan and set work priorities for the team
• Conduct coaching, counselling, and mentoring to improve employee competencies

To succeed in this role, you must be equipped with strong technical and leadership skills in data engineering and analytics, with experience in the tech stacks used.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with data integration, big data platform, data learning and predictions tools, data visualisation and will be agnostic with any quadrant leaders software
