What you'll do:

As a Learning and Business Development Partner based in Jakarta, you will play an essential role in expanding the reach of world-class training solutions across Indonesia’s corporate landscape. Your day-to-day activities will involve engaging with decision-makers at various levels within target organisations—listening carefully to their needs, understanding their strategic priorities, and recommending bespoke learning interventions that drive measurable results. You will be responsible for managing every stage of the client journey: from initial outreach through consultative discussions, solution crafting, proposal presentation, negotiation, contract finalisation, and post-sale relationship nurturing. Success in this role comes from your ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders across HR, L&D, Talent Management, and business units; your commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences; and your enthusiasm for collaborating with regional colleagues who share your passion for people development. By consistently identifying new business opportunities while growing existing accounts through thoughtful cross-selling and upselling strategies, you will contribute directly to the organisation’s mission of empowering individuals and teams through transformative learning experiences.

  • Consistently generate new business by identifying potential clients across mid-sized and enterprise organisations, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities for learning solutions.
  • Conduct thorough discovery meetings with prospective clients to understand their unique needs and challenges, positioning tailored learning programmes that address their objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial prospecting through solution design, proposal development, negotiation, and successful closing of new business deals.
  • Expand relationships within acquired accounts by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities that add value for clients while deepening engagement.
  • Build lasting partnerships with HR, Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Business Unit leaders by providing thoughtful guidance and attentive service.

What you bring:

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable you to connect authentically with multiple stakeholders at different organisational levels while influencing decision-making processes collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple touchpoints—from prospecting through closing—while maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout each phase.
  • Strong communication abilities (both verbal and written) that allow you to articulate value propositions clearly during presentations or negotiations.
