About the Senior Java Developer (Fully Remote) Role:
You will develop complex Java applications for different business areas of the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop complex Java applications for different business areas of the bank in order to be able to offer your internal customers technical solutions
- Record requirements from colleagues and other departments, their documentation and the subsequent design of software solutions
- Analyse existing systems and development of suitable IT solutions for process optimisation
- Create technical interfaces (APIs) for digitising business processes
To succeed in this Senior Java Developer role, you must be hands-on and have expertise in Java programming language.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in computer science, business informatics, a completed training as an application developer or a comparable qualification with appropriate professional experience
- Familiarity with software tests, e.g. JUnit or other test frameworks
- Good knowledge of CI/CD with platforms such as Gitlab-CI and Jenkins
- Knowledge of tools and frameworks such as Git, Maven, Docker, SpringBoot and Hibernate
- DevOps mindset and experience in IaC
- Willingness to familiarise oneself with complex banking-specific topics in English
