About the Contract Performance Manager (Industrial MRO) Role: Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of agreements, from their creation to execution and termination, for both direct and indirect customers. This role will play a crucial part in pre- and post-contractual administration, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, and managing claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update sales planning for the industrial division to support contractual obligations and achieve sales growth
Collaborate with legal and/or compliance teams to obtain approval for contracts/agreements with customers, ensuring they meet the company's requirements
Provide support to the sales team in developing negotiation strategies and argumentation for contracts and tenders
Assess and categorise contract items based on availability programs and align with distributors to manage customer expectations
Oversee the execution of contracts/agreements with customers, ensuring the company fulfils all commitments as promised
Alert sales and SCM/S&OP teams to potential risks related to delivery promises and provide mitigation strategies
Minimise customer claims regarding broken delivery promises and resolve issues in collaboration with relevant parties
Prepare comprehensive management reports and conduct reviews with distributors for key contract customers, covering delivery performance, technical projects, savings reporting, and other relevant aspects
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong attention to detail, fluency in Excel formulas and PowerPoint for presentations, customer-facing experience, and maturity in handling diverse responsibilities.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial) or Management and Business Administration with at least five years of relevant experience
Strong proficiency in Excel formulas and PowerPoint for building presentations and reporting
Ability to balance legal and compliance requirements while maintaining flexibility in sales negotiations
Previous experience in customer-oriented roles and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good understanding of a wide range of products, their specific uses, and applications to effectively meet customer needs
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and generate respect and trust from internal and external parties
Capable of maintaining a positive attitude and energy while handling multiple tasks and interfacing with various individuals
Proficient in both speaking and writing to effectively communicate with global stakeholders
