What you'll do:
As a Spare Parts Account Manager (Machinery), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of spare parts sales across Indonesia and neighbouring Southeast Asian markets. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve working closely with internal teams such as Sales, Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service Management to ensure seamless delivery of value-driven solutions. You will regularly engage with customers—both directly and through integrator partners—to understand their needs, present compelling value propositions, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing relationships. Success in this role requires you to leverage analytical tools for market assessment, implement targeted programmes that boost sales performance, and continuously review conversion metrics. Your ability to influence stakeholders, prioritise opportunities effectively, and adapt strategies based on real-time feedback will be crucial as you help maximise profits while increasing market share.
- Develop comprehensive account strategies in collaboration with the sales team based on detailed analysis to support field sales activities across Southeast Asia.
- Confidently present value selling statements to both internal sales teams and external customers on a regular basis, articulating the unique benefits of spare parts solutions.
- Proactively partner with the sales organisation to identify key opportunities within the installed base, prioritising these prospects while securing buy-in from various stakeholders.
- Utilise technology and analytical tools to assess customer situations and uncover new opportunities for increased part sales.
- Act as the voice of the customer by liaising with Sales, Operations, Pricing, and other cross-functional teams to determine client needs and design programmes that drive spare parts revenue.
- Manage pricing and discounts according to established guidelines, providing feedback from customers regarding concerns or suggestions encountered in the field.
- Identify and implement local programmes with the sales organisation aimed at achieving regional targets through collaborative efforts with all functions involved.
- Conduct regular reviews of sales inquiries versus conversion ratios to measure performance and optimise strategies for improved results.
- Participate in or lead continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance processes related to spare parts sales and customer engagement.
- Travel frequently within Southeast Asia to visit customers, develop tailored spare parts strategies, negotiate agreements—including discount levels and rebate programmes—and maintain corporate partnerships.

- Bachelor’s degree in Machinery, Hydraulic or Electronic Technologies, Commerce or Marketing is preferred; equivalent qualifications considered.
- General understanding of injection moulding machinery as well as mechanical, hydraulic and electronic technologies relevant to heavy industrial equipment.
- Superior prioritisation and organisational skills demonstrated through previous roles managing complex accounts or projects.
- Analytical mindset with proven experience making decisions based on data-driven insights; proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills enabling professional interaction with customers across diverse cultures.
- Strong facilitation abilities coupled with effective time-management skills; capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to articulate product value clearly using technical knowledge when engaging clients or presenting solutions.
- Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in maintaining high productivity despite changing demands or challenging environments.
- Leadership experience preferred; if not available then advanced influencing skills are essential for directing partners such as Concentrix during daily customer engagements.
- Minimum 5 years’ client-facing experience within heavy industry sectors (ideally 10+ years), preferably from large OEM equipment manufacturers such as those specialising in packaging machinery, food processing systems, HVAC units or construction equipment.
