What you'll do:

As a Senior Sales Engineer based in Jakarta, you will be at the forefront of driving business expansion within the HVAC sector. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve identifying new opportunities for growth by connecting with prospective clients while nurturing existing relationships to maximise account potential. You will be instrumental in developing robust sales strategies that align with organisational goals and managing complex project pipelines that require both commercial acumen and technical expertise. By collaborating closely with internal teams—including Sales, Customer Service, regional counterparts—and acting as a liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, you will ensure seamless execution of projects from inception through completion. Your ability to provide technical guidance will be crucial in supporting successful project delivery. Regular customer visits will allow you to understand client needs deeply while maintaining detailed records that support management review.   • Identify, develop, and secure new sales opportunities by engaging with both new and existing accounts to achieve assigned sales targets within the HVAC segment.
  • Take full ownership of sales activities in your designated territory, with particular emphasis on retrofit sales projects that contribute to revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies designed to meet or exceed targets while monitoring and progressing the sales cycle from lead generation through deal closure.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders such as consultants, developers, main contractors, ME contractors, duct applicators, and business partners.
  • Manage, service, and expand existing accounts including Contract Manufacturers to ensure sustained business growth through regular customer visits and engagement.
  • Identify and track potential HVAC projects within your segment and territory while establishing monthly sales objectives aligned with overall targets and project pipelines.
  • Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activities, and project developments to inform strategic decision-making processes.
  • Plan and conduct regular customer visits with thorough preparation of visit reports and follow-up actions to ensure continued engagement.
  • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline detailing activities, progress, project potential, opportunity value, product applications, win/loss status, and analysis for accurate forecasting.
  • Provide application and technical support to customers as well as internal Sales personnel by conducting technical discussions and supporting documentation coordination.

Your background as a Senior Sales Engineer should reflect solid academic credentials in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics. Ideally you bring several years’ experience in industrial sales—especially within the rotating equipment sector—which equips you with deep market insight.
