- Develop new customers, introduce new products, and expand into emerging markets with a focus on maximising sales volumes, margins, and overall customer profitability within the chocolate segment.
- Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely delivery of goods and proactively follow up on accounts receivable, maintaining strong client relationships for sustained business growth.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product Development teams regarding new product launches, competitor activities, and specific customer requests to ensure alignment with market needs.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports on business activities, taking corrective action as needed in partnership with commercial teams within your area of responsibility.
- Translate regional sales strategies into actionable local plans, leading their implementation to achieve commercial objectives and strengthen market presence.
- Actively promote cocoa products and derivatives by preparing compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to customer requirements and aligned with organisational goals.
- Monitor industry trends and market updates within Indonesia’s food sector to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Foster dependable relationships with key stakeholders both internally (across PD, Finance, Supply Chain) and externally (with clients), ensuring seamless communication and project execution.
- Support the achievement of volume growth targets by managing multiple projects simultaneously while upholding high standards of service delivery.
- Champion a culture of collaboration by working effectively within cross-functional teams to deliver results that align with broader business objectives.
What you bring:
Your proven experience as a Sales Manager Food Manufacturing will be evident through your deep understanding of B2B sales dynamics within Indonesia’s food sector. - Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales within the food industry—ideally covering confectionery, ice cream or biscuit snacks—to ensure familiarity with sector-specific challenges.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential for effective communication across multicultural teams; Mandarin language skills are considered an advantage for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully developing new business opportunities while growing existing accounts through nurturing relationships built on trust.
