This pivotal position offers you the opportunity to shape national sales strategy, nurture distributor relationships, and strengthen connections with key OEM accounts in the automotive lubricants sector.

What you'll do:
As National Sales Manager, your day-to-day activities will revolve around shaping strategic direction for B2B and OEM sales within Indonesia’s vibrant automotive lubricants industry. You will be entrusted with managing distributor networks—building trust-based relationships that foster mutual growth—and overseeing key accounts among leading OEMs and fleet operators. Your responsibilities extend beyond traditional sales; you will work collaboratively across departments such as marketing for campaign planning, supply chain for operational excellence, finance for budgetary control, and pricing for market competitiveness.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive national B2B and OEM sales strategies tailored to the Indonesian automotive lubricants market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage distributor networks by fostering dependable partnerships, monitoring channel performance, and implementing initiatives that enhance coverage and efficiency.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with key OEMs and large fleet customers by understanding their needs, providing responsive solutions, and ensuring consistent satisfaction.
  • Oversee all aspects of sales forecasting, budgeting processes, pricing strategies, and regular performance reviews to maintain transparency and accountability within the team.
  • Guide, mentor, and nurture the sales team by setting clear goals, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their ongoing professional development.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to design impactful campaigns that resonate with target audiences while aligning with broader commercial objectives.
  • Work hand-in-hand with supply chain colleagues to guarantee seamless product availability and timely delivery for all customer segments.
  • Engage with finance partners to monitor revenue streams, optimise profitability, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies.
  • Coordinate with pricing teams to develop competitive yet sustainable pricing models that reflect market trends and customer expectations.
  • Champion adherence to internal policies as well as Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards throughout all sales operations.


What you bring:

To excel as National Sales Manager, your proven experience in automotive or industrial B2B environments will be invaluable—especially if you have previously managed distributors or worked closely with OEM clients.

  • Demonstrated experience in automotive or industrial B2B sales environments where relationship-building was central to success.
  • Proven track record of managing distributor networks effectively while maintaining open communication channels for feedback and improvement.
  • Extensive background in handling OEM customers—including negotiating commercial agreements and resolving complex challenges empathetically.
  • Strong commercial acumen paired with analytical skills that enable you to interpret data accurately for informed decision-making.
  • Ability to guide teams through change by offering encouragement, sharing knowledge generously, and fostering a sense of shared purpose.
  • Deep understanding of the Indonesian automotive market landscape—including regulatory requirements, customer preferences, and emerging trends.
  • Fluency in English which enables clear communication across multicultural teams as well as external stakeholders.
