Hyperscaler Sales Manager (Data Center)
This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with strong industry relationships, deep understanding of hyperscaler needs, and experience navigating complex B2B engagements in telecom and data connectivity. You will play a pivotal role in expanding their presence within Indonesia’s fast-evolving digital infrastructure ecosystem.
What you'll do:
As a Hyperscaler Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading direct sales efforts and managing relationships with global and regional hyperscalers. Your role will involve owning the entire sales cycle for hyperscaler accounts - from prospecting to closing deals. You will work closely with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs in terms of capacity, scalability, and network performance. Monitoring market trends and competitor offerings will be crucial to inform your sales strategy. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets for the hyperscaler segment.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle for hyperscaler accounts, including prospecting, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
- Build, strengthen, and manage long-term relationships with key stakeholders at major hyperscaler organizations.
- Collaborate closely with internal network, product, and commercial teams to tailor solutions that address client needs in capacity, scalability, and network performance.
- Monitor market trends, customer expansion plans, and competitor offerings to inform sales strategy.
- Ensure revenue and growth targets for the hyperscaler segment are met or exceeded.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to the Head of Carrier & Hyperscaler.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Hyperscaler Sales Manager position brings a wealth of B2B sales experience in data connectivity, telecom infrastructure, cloud services or carrier relations. You have had prior exposure to or experience working directly with hyperscalers such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure or Meta. Your strong understanding of IP transit, data center interconnect, cloud on-ramps and international bandwidth solutions will be crucial in this role. You are a self-starter with a proven ability to manage complex deals and stakeholder relationships independently. Your negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are top-notch, and you are comfortable working in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience in data connectivity, telecom infrastructure, cloud services, or carrier relations.
- Prior exposure to or experience working directly with hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Meta).
- Strong understanding of IP transit, data center interconnect, cloud on-ramps, and international bandwidth solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex deals and stakeholder relationships independently.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment as a single contributor with high ownership.
