Key Account Manager (Data Centre)

The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing our client's market position as a preferred piping systems solutions provider in Indonesia. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of the latest developments in Indonesia's data centre market, who can build trust-based relationships and prioritise ethical business practices.

What you'll do:
As a Key Account Manager for the Data Centre, your primary responsibility will be to drive and grow sales activity within this sector. You will work closely with the Market Segment Manager and Managing Director to define and implement strategies that establish our client's position as a preferred provider of piping system solutions. Your ability to identify and develop market opportunities through networking and evaluation of key players will be crucial to achieving tangible sales results. Building strong relationships with key accounts such as Owners, Consultants, and Contractors will be a significant part of your role. You will also ensure that all activities align with environmental, health, safety, and quality management policies.

  • Ensure the implementation of the policy on Environment, Health and Safety as well as Quality Management Systems in the department.
  • Define and implement & Data Center segment strategy in Indonesia together with Market Segment Manager and Managing Director.
  • Identify and develop market opportunities by networking, monitoring and evaluating key players in the market translating into tangible sales of products into the Data Center market.
  • Build relationships with key accounts (Owners, Consultants, Contractors).
  • Ensure sales networking activity with the relevant key stake holders related to Data Center market, owner, consultant, contractor and sub contractor to support overall sales target achievement.
  • Coordinate with related distributors or contactors for securing sales for supplying main projects on timely manner.
  • Make full use of product knowledge including technical know-how on the welding technologies.


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager (Data Centre) role will bring a wealth of experience and a strong skill set. You will have a degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industry) or related fields, along with professional qualifications in Sales & Marketing. Your proven leadership and management experience in sales & marketing will be complemented by your thorough knowledge of sales and marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development. Your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be crucial to this role, as will your technical knowledge, particularly in VAC Sales Field in Building Technology, Data Center, Industry (F&B).

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industry) or related fields and professional qualification in Sales & Marketing.
  • Proven leadership/management experience in sales & marketing with thorough knowledge of sales&marketing principles, product or service management, sales and business development.
  • Experience in sales and technical knowledge especially VAC Sales Field in Building Technology, Data Center, Industry (F&B).
  • Ability to manage several project at the same time.
  • Able to read technical drawing/design.
  • Good Personality and able to communication with English language.
  • Good computer reporting skills - Good Sales and marketing skills - Project management.
