Key Account Manager (Mineral Processing Mining)
Our client, a leading multinational provider of advanced piping and flow solutions, is looking for a Key Account Manager to drive business development efforts in the mineral processing and mining sector. This is a strategic role focused on expanding the company’s footprint across Indonesia’s major mining players.
What you'll do:
As a Key Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing sales within the mineral mining market. Your role will involve promoting our client's high-quality solutions and services, while also identifying potential new markets within the sector. You will establish and nurture relationships with key mineral mining customers, working towards positioning our client as a preferred provider of piping systems in Indonesia. Leveraging your knowledge of fluid transport, water treatment, chemical handling, and mineral processing/smelting, you will drive sales and contribute to our client's growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead business development and sales initiatives within the mineral mining sector, including smelting and processing facilities.

Build and manage key customer relationships with major mining companies and EPCs.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the mining and mineral processing value chain.

Provide technical and commercial expertise to position the company’s solutions as preferred options in the market.

Collaborate with internal engineering and service teams to deliver integrated offerings that meet complex industrial needs.

Maintain awareness of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in fluid handling and process automation.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Key Account Manager role brings a minimum of 5 years of sales experience along with expertise in selling industrial products and engineering services. Your background in heavy equipment sales coupled with your strong relationships with key players in the mineral mining industry will be invaluable. Your understanding of fluid transport, water treatment processes/products and process equipment in mining will enable you to excel in this role.
Key Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B industrial sales, preferably within mining, mineral processing, or heavy equipment industries.

Proven track record of selling solutions such as piping systems, pumps, valves, fittings, process instrumentation, or water treatment technologies.

Solid network and experience working with key mining accounts such as Amman Mineral, Freeport, Agincourt, Vale, Merdeka Group, and other major players.

Strong understanding of fluid transport, chemical dosing systems, water and wastewater treatment, and process automation in mining operations.

Self-driven, strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
