Our client is seeking a dynamic sales professional with a strong desire to succeed and a winning mindset. As the Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving business performance in Indonesia by achieving or exceeding revenue targets in assigned key accounts within your territory. This role offers the opportunity to establish strategic partnerships with key accounts, leveraging product and service solutions to meet educational outcomes. The position is based in Central Java/Jogjakarta, Indonesia.

What you'll do:

As a Key Account Manager, your primary role will be to drive the Higher Education Division's sales revenue in Indonesia. You will be responsible for determining sales priorities and strategies, developing a comprehensive business plan, and building strategic relationships with key university stakeholders. Your ability to conduct both group and individual product presentations will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will work closely with instructors to ensure our products are matched to their programs effectively. Your proactive approach will enable you to develop new accounts and revenue streams through active prospecting. Meeting or exceeding company-set KPIs and financial measurements will be an integral part of your role.

  • Drive Higher Education Division (HED) sales revenue in Indonesia by establishing strategic partnerships with key accounts
  • Determine sales priorities & strategies and develop a business plan for implementing these strategies
  • Identify and build strategic relationships with key University stakeholders such as Teaching & Learning, IT (technical), Procurement, Educational Designers, Finance, and Library
  • Conduct group and individual product/technology presentations
  • Work with instructors to match products to their program to drive adoption sales
  • Develop new accounts and new revenue streams through active prospecting, either through a cold call or social media outreach in assigned territory
  • Meet or exceed KPIs and financial measurements set by the company

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Key Account Manager position is someone who holds a Bachelor's degree and has 5-8 years of experience working with channel partners, bookstores, sales or related customer-facing roles in higher education or a related field. You should have experience interfacing with executive management and be comfortable conducting high-level sales meetings with Deans, Vice-Chancellors and other similar executive levels. Your excellent negotiation skills, combined with your high level of experience in solution selling and digital products, will be key to your success in this role. Strong networking skills and familiarity with social media selling & prospecting are also required. Fluency in the local language and an intermediate level of English language communication is a must. Experience with SalesForce and Tableau would be a significant advantage.
