Our client is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented Sales Manager for their Mineral Processing division to handle SEA market. Based in Jakarta, you will be instrumental in marketing and supporting their separation technology to the Mining and Industrial markets throughout Asia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to establish a distribution network across the region, foster relationships with key customers, and actively sell products through extensive travel

What you'll do:

As a SEA Sales Manager in Mineral Processing, your primary responsibility will be to market and support our client's separation technology within the Mining and Industrial markets throughout Asia. You will play a crucial role in establishing a distribution network across the region, fostering relationships with key customers, and actively selling products through extensive travel. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both end users and engineering design firms.

  • Identify existing market activity and sales potentials in the area
  • Establish plans to recapture the market
  • Build strong relationships with current and potential customers
  • Present Equipment to Customers through the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Draft Quotations to Customers, submit the quotations and follow up with the client for feedback
  • Negotiate a selling price to the customer that is acceptable to the Company
  • Follow up on initial equipment delivery or installations and build customer satisfaction


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this SEA Sales Manager role will bring a wealth of knowledge about the Mining industry in Southeast Asia. You should have experience selling into countries within SEA, including Korea and Japan. Your excellent English verbal communication and written skills will be essential for drafting quotations, creating high-quality reports, and delivering compelling presentations. Your consultative selling skills will be invaluable as you navigate negotiations with clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy from a reputable university is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Mining industry in Southeast Asia
  • Experience of selling into countries in ASEAN including Korea and Japan
  • Excellent English verbal communication and written skills
  • Skilled in consultative selling
  • Ability to use Microsoft programs to create high quality reports, quotations and presentations in English
