What you'll do:

As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving our client's business growth in East Indonesia. Your main responsibility will be to convert national strategies into relevant tactics for your coverage area. You will keep a vigilant eye on competitor activities, identifying potential impacts and suggesting suitable mitigation actions. Discovering new channel opportunities will be key, as well as developing effective plans for market entry. You'll work hand-in-hand with distributors, guiding them in crafting localized trade promotions that drive product off-take. Supervising trade plan execution and managing trade spending budgets will fall under your purview. Regular market visits will be part of your routine to monitor brand performance and ensure the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns.

  • Convert and implement national strategies into relevant strategies/tactics for the coverage area.
  • Keep an eye on competitor activities and suggest mitigation actions.
  • Discover new channel opportunities and develop plans for market entry.
  • Collaborate with distributors to craft localized trade promotions.
  • Forecast monthly demand by channel and SKU in coordination with distributors.
  • Supervise trade plan execution through distributors.
  • Manage monthly and year-to-date trade spending budget.
  • Provide trade execution direction to distributors.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor brand performance.

What you bring:

The perfect candidate for the Regional Sales Manager role brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in field sales within East Indonesia. You have spent at least 5 years honing your skills on the ground, building strong networks and relationships with key customers. Your 3-5 years of experience in a sales management position has equipped you with solid leadership abilities and an action-oriented approach. You understand the intricacies of MT, GT, sub-distributors, and HoReCa/institutional business channels. Your analytical skills are top-notch, aiding you in making sound decisions. A willingness to travel is essential for this role, as regular market visits will be part of your routine.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any business-related field.
  • 5+ years of field sales experience in East Indonesia.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales management position.
