A leading global company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Account Manager with a focus on Data Centres. This role offers an exciting opportunity to implement action plans, track progress against key performance indicators, prepare quotations, and report on competitor activities. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of products and support relationship development with key customers.

What you'll do:
As an Account Manager specialising in Data Centres, you will be responsible for implementing action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses or territories. You will be tracking your progress against key performance indicators and sales plans while preparing quotations, delivery details, and commercial terms in line with company policies. Your role will also involve reporting on competitor activities and maintaining relevant customer data. You will execute continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing sales processes, sales plans, and overall customer satisfaction. Responding promptly to customer orders and queries will be part of your daily tasks.

  • Implement action plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
  • Track progress against key performance indicators and sales plans
  • Prepare quotation/tender prices, delivery and commercial terms in accordance with company policies
  • Report on competitor activities and maintain relevant customer data
  • Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, and customer satisfaction
  • Respond to customer orders and queries, informing them of promotions and new/upgraded products


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Account Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing data centres. You have strong networking connections and are comfortable interacting with directors or C-level executives. Your solid understanding of collocation or hyperscale data centres sets you apart from others. You are able to read electrical blueprints and have a good understanding of basic electrical systems. Your basic software skills in application programming complement your strong communication and negotiation skills. You possess basic research and analytical skills along with proficiency in office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
