About the Sales & Business Development Manager (Filtration) Role: Reporting to the Managing Director, you will play a crucial part in developing and executing market intelligence, product management, pricing strategies, and business plans to strengthen the company's competitiveness, profitability, and market share in Indonesia.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute market intelligence data and analysis to gain insights into market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activities. Use data-driven approaches to make informed business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the product portfolio. Identify opportunities for product enhancements or new offerings based on local customer requirements
Develop and implement pricing strategies that align with market conditions, customer expectations, and company profitability goals
Monitor and track developments in the Indonesian market, identifying new business opportunities, potential target segments, and market priorities
Keep abreast of major competitors and key market trends. Propose actions to increase the share of wallet among main customers and initiate new project initiatives to stay competitive
Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate local and regional strategic initiatives. Collaborate with various teams to ensure successful project execution
Organise data and provide accurate information to the sales and marketing teams to enhance brand awareness and improve the effectiveness of sales initiatives
Support the Managing Director (MD) in elaborating and executing the strategic plan. Contribute to the development of comprehensive reports to track progress
To succeed in this role, you must have prior experience in the off-highway vehicles industry, including sectors such as mining and agriculture.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
Minimum of five years of experience in sales, business development, or product management, preferably in the off-highway vehicles industry (e.g., mining, agriculture)
Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Proven track record in developing and executing successful business strategies
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in market analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving
