About the National Sales Manager (Food Manufacturing) Role: Reporting to the Regional SEA Sales Manager, you will play instrumental role in formulating and executing sales strategies, maintaining strong relationships with key partners, and achieving sales targets.
Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and meet sales targets
Implement sales tactics to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base
Monitor and adjust strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and competition
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners
Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention through effective communication and support
Monitor customer orders, deliveries, payments, and provide after-sales service
Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, especially with potential key accounts
Drive market expansion by leveraging market insights and customer needs
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to anticipate risks and opportunities
Provide valuable insights to adjust sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge
Collaborate with various departments to design and execute sales campaigns and promotional activities
Coordinate closely with the technical and customer services teams to ensure smooth operations.Provide regular visit reports, sales forecasts, and performance reports to senior management
Utilise CRM software and sales tools to track and analyse sales data
To succeed in this role, you must have strong commercial acumen and committed to developing new market.
Proven experience as a National Sales Manager or similar role, with a focus on managing key accounts.
Strong sales background with a track record of achieving sales targets and revenue growth in a competitive environment
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or food science (preferred)
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty
In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, management practices, and market trends in the food industry
Excellent people management skills, capable of motivating sales, technical, and customer service teams
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to engage key accounts and stakeholders
Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools
Willingness to travel as needed domestically
