About the Business Development Manager (Bearing) Role:
Reporting directly to the Country Manager Indonesia and indirectly to the the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy Subregion SEA, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and strategic direction of the company's activities in Indonesia. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive Strategic Business Plan (SBP) that aligns with the company's long-term strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Corporate Development & Strategy SEA to lead projects aimed at developing, monitoring, and adjusting the company's medium to long-term strategy in Indonesia
• Conduct in-depth analysis and build robust business cases to support the company's extensive growth plan, encompassing both capturing market demand and establishing local supply capabilities
• Drive efforts to achieve a revenue target of €100m by FY2028, with the latest target set at FY2030, aligning with the company's growth trajectory
• Conduct feasibility studies on product localisation and production capabilities to ascertain the cost benefits for the company, contributing to strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with independent market research analysts and investment banks to conduct relevant market analyses that inform the company's development strategies in Indonesia
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to identify areas for improvement in processes, workflows, and operational efficiency within the company's activities
• Drive initiatives that structure and standardise workflows, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness in the company's operations
• Independently monitor and track the status of strategic initiatives led by different project managers, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. Escalate concerns when projects deviate from their intended course
• Collaborate effectively with sub-regional, regional, and headquarters counterparts, advocating for necessary support and driving initiatives that align with key responsibilities
• Assist the Country Manager Indonesia in the development of the country strategy, ensuring alignment with regional headquarters' objectives
• Identify potential merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals

To succeed in this role, you will leverage on your expertise in business development, market analysis, and strategic thinking to contribute to the company's exponential growth ambitions in the Indonesian market.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university
• Fluent in a minimum of two international languages, with English being a mandatory requirement
• Minimum of five years of practical business development experience within the automotive and/or industrial goods industry
• A high level of integrity and the ability to handle confidential information and data
• Willingness to travel internationally and work under pressure
• Proficient in modern IT tools and applications
• Familiarity with financial and valuation principles
• Strong strategic thinking and trend observation skills
• Knowledgeable about system theory
