About the Head of Sales (Warehouse Services) Role:
As the Head of Sales (Warehouse Services), reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for sales planning and making marketing strategies for warehouse services, building business relationships, and leading the Warehouse Sales Department in achieving revenue targets and meeting needs of customers, as well as planning optimal costing and business solutions to win and acquire new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the Warehouse Sales Department budget for sales and service marketing activities according to company’s policy
  • Design effective strategies and promotions to increase sales through existing customers and new customers to achieve the revenue targets
  • Identify and develop potential customer pipelines in accordance with the sales targets set by the CCO
  • Monitor and evaluate market conditions, including competitors in the warehouse business as basis for consideration in adjusting sales and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate with the operations team to ensure warehouse facilities meets customers’ requirements
  • Ensure Warehouse Design Solutions are calculated accurately and is cost-effective, according to the standards and qualifications that have been set by the company
  • Assess the technical impact of risks and changes to the scope of warehouse work, requirements, or designs. Gives input regarding mitigation plans or corrective actions to ensure that the project runs in accordance with the standards, qualifications, and targets set
  • Evaluating the realisation of all forms of reporting and is responsible for reporting as well discussion of work progress periodically to the management (Project Timeline)
  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate the performance of the Warehouse Sales Department, including making sure that all sales activities are done in accordance with company guidelines and strategies
  • Conduct analysis of customer needs, requests, and complaints to improve customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and evaluate the achievement of work plan realization in the Warehouse Sales Department monthly
  • Plan for continuous improvement, one of which is by utilising developments technology associated with the supply chain management
  • Develop the Warehouse Sales Department team by motivating, counseling, conducting technical skills and soft skills trainings that can optimise work performance
  • Ensuring that HSE policies is compliant with company’s regulations
  • Conduct and complete tasks given by superiors

To succeed in this role, you will need to have exceptional strategic and analytical thinking, as well as the ability to develop all sales efforts.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable university with minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Minimum of seven years of work experience in the position of Head of Sales in a logistics/supply chain company and has experience in business development/solution design
  • Good leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Persuasive with good negotiation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to analyse problems with good problem solving skills
  • Extensive network and connection within the logistics/supply chain management industry and its players (warehousing, distribution/trucking, and logistics)
  • Master project management and budget management
  • Communicates well in Bahasa Indonesia and English in written and verbally, including the ability in making reports and business correspondences
  • Able to operate Ms. Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Based in Jakarta and willing to travel if required
