About the Key Account Manager (MMM) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for selling MMM specific solutions that address their mining, metals, and minerals client business needs (both industrial processes and business solutions) and deliver client value while supporting company and account business strategies.
- Meet or exceed annual quota attainment to assigned key accounts while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Identify and effectively qualify sales leads and maintain a sales revenue pipeline as measured in the company’s internal CRM systems
- Develop and execute on sales and business plans to achieve annual sales and business objectives and providing accurate and timely reports/forecasts. Collaborate with the MMM global solutions team to grow the software solutions business
- Develop business solutions that solve customer application problems through the use of the company’s portfolio of software solutions and related systems
- Develop and lead a team selling approach and act as a liaison between customers and pre-sales technical specialists, inside sales and the customer service organisation
To succeed in this Key Account Manager (MMM) role, it is essential for you to demonstrate the ability to apply industry specific knowledge and experience to bring new business and technology insights to assigned clients.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in enterprise solution selling experience and proven track record in selling/presenting to C-level business executives
- Experience in business intelligence, content management, customer relationship management and/or other web applications
- Have an established network of hardware, software, and solutions customers/contacts in the MMM industry – end users, S/Is, OEMs, and/or system suppliers
- MMM domain expertise and process knowledge
- Consultative selling, account and customer relationship development at senior levels, as well as running complex high-value sales strategies of multiple complex transactions. The ability to map customer value streams and frame up the company's solutions linking the quantified value delivered against customer business/financial targets
- Demonstrated prospecting, qualifying, closing and managing skills
- Extensive business solution selling experience and proven track record in selling/presenting to C-level business executives, especially to heads of IT, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations
- Willing to travel 50% annually
