An established FMCG company in Jakarta is looking for a well-experienced International Business Manager. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, you will be responsible to drive the international business of the company focusing in Asia market.
About the International Business Manager Role:
Due to excellent results and future expansion plans, the International Business Manager will play a key role in continued development and success in the Jakarta office.
- Focus on revenue growth and operating cost optimisation
- Regulate all aspects of activities associated with the brand such as consumer insight, advertising development, media planning, consumer and trade promo, market research, product development, pricing, sales forecasting, financial mix, and profit and loss (P&L) management.
- Analyse sales data to update a brand or category portfolio, determine new products and delete under-performing products
- Work closely with manufacturing and research and development, to consult on package and product as it relates to branding
- Provide monthly, quarter and annual country review
- Frequent business travel to visit countries
- Ensure that revenue targets of each country is achieved or exceeded
- Oversee the development and implementation of standards of best practice throughout distribution and marketing operations in respective countries.
- Proactively monitor and evaluate country performance, take remedial action, and implement operational improvements as necessary
- Implement marketing plan and strategy to support and create brand image or brand building which can be accepted by consumer
To succeed in this role, you will need exceptional commercial planning, sales training, key account management, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree from reputable university
- Initiative to develop client’s business by providing consultancy service or training
- Strong business sense and have good understanding of the markets, customer and competitors
- Result driven, self-motivated, tactful with excellent interpersonal and communication skills while able to work under pressure and multi-task
