A major global manufacturer in the apparel supply chain is seeking a Commercial Director to lead commercial strategy and sales growth across Indonesia. This role focuses on managing key customers, developing high-performing teams, and driving sustainable business results in a fast-moving market. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and execution for the apparel market in Indonesia

  • Drive profitable sales growth through customer segmentation, pricing, and product mix

  • Manage and develop commercial teams across multiple sites

  • Support key account management in partnership with marketing, technical, supply chain, finance and customer service

  • Track market trends and adjust strategy to stay competitive

  • Enhance customer experience and long-term relationships with brands, vendors and partners

  • Use CRM and data tools to improve forecasting and customer engagement

  • Recruit, coach, and develop commercial talent while promoting compliance and strong commercial discipline

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)

  • Minimum 12 years’ commercial experience with at least 5+ years in senior leadership

  • Strong background in B2B sales/marketing, ideally in industrial or apparel-related markets

  • Fluent in English with strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex customers

  • Strong commercial judgement, analytical ability and ethical mindset
