Data Center Segment Manager

A global leader in electrical and automation technologies is seeking a high-calibre Data Center Segment Manager to drive business development, partnerships, and strategic account management across Indonesia’s booming data center and infrastructure markets.
About the Data Center Segment Manager Role:
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, you will be responsible for expanding the company’s footprint in the data center segment by developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders including end users, consultants, contractors, and system integrators.
You will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and technical teams to deliver complete electrical, automation, and digital solutions that support high-efficiency, sustainable data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the business strategy for the data center segment in Indonesia

Identify and establish relationships with key stakeholders — consultants, EPCs, and hyperscale developers

Drive solution-based sales initiatives and oversee tender management for major projects

Collaborate with regional and global teams on solution design and go-to-market planning

Conduct market analysis, track competitor movements, and identify new business opportunities

Represent the company at industry events and forums to strengthen brand positioning
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for a commercially astute and technically strong segment manager with a passion for data center infrastructure and deep understanding of the electrical or automation industry. The ideal candidate will bring experience in project sales, stakeholder management, and an established network within the data center ecosystem.
Key Requirements:

Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in B2B technical or project sales, preferably within electrical, automation, or data center industries

Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems, and energy management solutions

Proven success in developing key accounts and handling complex, multi-stakeholder projects

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
