Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Regional Sales Manager (Surabaya Based) to oversee daily and long-term plans, monitor, lead, and control all activities for smooth sales operations across stores in a geographic region. This role involves operational and administrative functions including the formulation of sales forecasts, selling expense budget preparation and control, sales analysis, and service provided to customers. The successful candidate will also ensure a proper mentoring and development program for the field sales personnel is implemented to ensure profit and growth of the business in their assigned region.

What you'll do:

As a Regional Sales Manager (Surabaya Based), you will be responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term plans of the sales department. You will manage relationships with distributors, expand territories efficiently, control MPO & PS of all RD’s in your areas, monitor on-time payments, coordinate with supply chain teams, develop strategies to improve visibility, consumer activity, and merchandising at store level. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department.

  • Manage quarterly/annual JBP with distributor owner
  • Review and evaluate Regional Distributors
  • Select and recruit new Regional Distributors
  • Build relationships and clear communication with all Distributors
  • Expand areas to adjacent/secondary cities efficiently
  • Control MPO & PS of all RD’s in your areas
  • Monitor on-time payment RD to URC
  • Coordinate with team supply chain and distributor to ensure DO running well as planned
  • Develop strategies to improve Visibility, Consumer Activity, and Merchandising at store Level

Your experience spans across both GT & MT channels, demonstrating your versatility. You are adept at managing multiple distributors while maintaining strong relationships with customers. Your understanding of Route to Market within your area of responsibility sets you apart from others. With excellent command over English language, effective communication skills, foresight, good business sense, strong organisational skills coupled with a problem-solving attitude make you an ideal fit for this role.
