Our client is seeking a National Channel Manager for their Foodservice division. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage operational activities, develop marketing strategies, and drive in-market sales performance. Based in the vibrant cities of Tangerang & Jakarta, Indonesia, you will be at the heart of the action, working closely with distributors and foodservice operators. What you'll do:

As a National Channel Manager, Foodservice, your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of our client's operations in Tangerang & Jakarta. You will be responsible for developing long-term plans that align with company objectives while ensuring financial deliverables are met. Your ability to develop brand proportion through targeted pull activities will be key in driving sales performance. You'll work closely with distributors to ensure execution excellence across distribution expansion, product merchandising, in-store penetration, and promotion activities implementation.

  • Develop and sustain long-term plans for respective areas and channels in line with company objectives
  • Ensure financial figures can be delivered to both parties through effective route-to-market strategies
  • Develop brand proportion by implementing pull activities targeting foodservice operators, chefs, and diners
  • Deliver sales volume forecasting from distributor, customer/channel respective
  • Plan, direct, and monitor channel activities and campaigns to achieve established sales and market share targets
  • Manage trading term or customer management by collaborating with distributor to provide best result with very effective cost of doing business
  • Involve in sales and marketing programmes, keep track of cost and effectiveness of programmes and activities against the goals
  • Define channel issues and opportunities
  • Build activities to maximise territory/channel plan

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the National Channel Manager, foodservice position brings a wealth of experience in the Foodservice industry. With a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in events management and distributor collaboration. Your independent nature combined with your determination to succeed makes you stand out from the crowd. Your strong leadership skills, coupled with your ability to take initiative, will be key in driving the success of our client's Foodservice operations. Your analytical skills and ability to consolidate complex information will be crucial in developing effective strategies.

  • Diploma or Degree holder in Business, Marketing or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, which includes 5 years in Foodservice business
  • Experience in events management and working with a distributor is required
  • Independent, self-motivated and determined to succeed in a challenging environment
  • Strong leadership skills with potential for taking initiative
  • Insightful, with strong analytical skills and ability to consolidate complex information
  • Pragmatic, ethical, results orientated and entrepreneurial
  • Fluent in local language and English
