What you'll do:

As a Sales Specialist Freight Forwarding, your primary responsibility will be managing a pipeline with a Gross Profit (GP) target. You will be tasked with developing strategies that not only meet but exceed these targets. Your role will also involve overseeing and optimising warehousing and trucking operations, ensuring they run as efficiently as possible. You will be expected to acquire new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. Your ability to provide consultative selling to clients will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will monitor sales targets and revenue, ensuring all financial goals are met.

  • Manage a pipeline with a Gross Profit (GP) target
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed GP targets
  • Oversee and optimise warehousing and trucking operations
  • Acquire new clients and foster strong relationships with existing clients
  • Support operations in warehousing and trucking to ensure efficiency

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Sales Specialist Freight Forwarding role brings a proven track record in managing pipelines and achieving Gross Profit (GP) targets. You have demonstrated your ability to acquire new clients while maintaining a healthy pipeline. Your excellent communication skills enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, while your leadership skills allow you to guide teams towards success. A minimum bachelor's degree is required for this role, along with at least five years of experience in sales freight forwarding. Your persuasive nature coupled with your good interpersonal skills make you an effective negotiator.
