What you'll do:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our client's expansion into the Indonesian market. You will be responsible for developing a comprehensive business strategy, identifying new markets, and taking ownership of the company's financial performance. Your innovative approach to marketing and sales strategies will help capture market share and raise brand awareness. You will also foster a positive work environment that encourages team growth and development. Managing existing partnerships and serving as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers will also fall under your remit.

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy for the Indonesian market
  • Identifying growth opportunities and new markets, collaborating with the regional team to expand the products & channels
  • Innovating and leading marketing and sales strategies to capture market share and raise brand awareness
  • Managing existing partnerships and serving as the main point of contact with customers and suppliers

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in management roles within multinational corporations or leading local retailers. A background in the plastics industry is essential, along with proficiency in English skills. You have a comprehensive understanding of the plastics industry, with proven experience in sales and marketing strategy. Your management experience will include full P&L responsibility, high operational awareness, and market sensitivity. Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of seniority are also key.

  • Minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a Sales role within an MNC or leading local retailer or Plastics wholesale environment
  • Working proficiency in English skills; Chinese language skills are a plus
  • Background in the plastics industry (homeware, packaging, toiletries, etc.)
  • Exceptional understanding of the plastic industry with experience in sales strategy
  • Comprehensive management experience with full P&L responsibility, high operational awareness, and market sensitivity
  • Strong leadership skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of seniority
