About the Business Unit Head of Pet Food Role: Based in Jakarta, you will play a key role in the team’s continued development and success in the pet food category in consumer goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilise data-driven insights to evaluate sales performance (i.e. by developing a robust sales KPI for the sales and merchandise teams), identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective measures. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer habits to optimise sales strategies
Work with relevant stakeholders to create a product roadmap for the region to ensure that sales strategies and activities are integrated and aligned with the overall company objectives
Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; set targets in areas like product mix, sales volume, market shares, business development, etc.
Achieve profitable business relationships by identifying new opportunities, prospecting new clients and decision makers, and turn this into new business
Communicate effectively with the team and drive cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as R&D and finance
Establish network and relationships with distributors/retailers and apply your experience in managing the sales and marketing teams
To succeed in this Business Unit Head of Pet Food role, you must be an expert in handling multiple projects, assignments, and duties in FMCG effectively.
Key Requirements:
Ideal candidates has prior experience in a large FMCG, ideally in pet food or F&B categories
Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales and marketing in Indonesia, including successful experience in developing the MT, GT, and B2B channels for FMCG products
Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding market presence and visibility as well as negotiating of trading/distribution terms
Strong leadership traits and interpersonal skills, experienced in managing a big team, and strong in people development
Results-driven, fast-paced, high initiative skills while able to work under pressure and multitasking
Proven experience of managing teams and influencing work streams and leadership qualities as demonstrated through previous line/team management experience
