About the Head of International Sales (Express Logistics) Role: Your focus will be on cross-border exports and you will play a crucial role in identifying new market opportunities, nurturing customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of international sales staff, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's dynamic and result-oriented environment
Collaborate with domestic sales team to ensure a coordinated approach to sales activities, achieving targeted sales volumes and growth
Leverage extensive industry connections, particularly within the e-commerce marketplace, to turn commercial leads into substantial sales revenue
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate and expand the company's international presence
Build and maintain strong business relationships with potential and existing customers, ensuring customer requirements are met and exceeding their expectations
Oversee and manage the sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets, including immediate boosts in shipment numbers and a target of 100 shipments/day
Offer strategic support to maintain customer satisfaction, addressing concerns, and providing solutions to ensure long-term customer partnerships
Monitor and implement projects, sales promotions, and initiatives that drive sales growth, engaging both domestic and international sales teams
Collaborate with marketing and other relevant teams to ensure effective implementation of sales promotions and strategies
Drive efforts to secure new business from potential and existing customers, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements
Identify and capitalise on emerging market trends and customer demands, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of industry developments
Provide comprehensive sales reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, achievements, and areas for improvement

Key Requirements:
Proven track record of successful leadership in international sales, preferably within the express logistics or related industry
Wide network of industry connections, particularly within the e-commerce marketplace, and the ability to convert leads into revenue
Strong experience in cross-border exports and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this domain
Results-oriented leadership style with the ability to drive a high-performance sales culture
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and speak up in a direct and professional manner
Strong project management skills, with the ability to monitor and implement multiple initiatives simultaneously
Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities, contributing to the growth and expansion of the business
