An exciting Head of Commercial & Jakarta Office Manager job opportunity has become available at a premium multinational pipe manufacturer company.

About the Head of Commercial & Office Manager Role:
Being the Head of Commercial & Office Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company’s commercial organisation based in Jakarta (sales, technical sales, marketing, inside sales, sales order management and services), to achieve the development of sales in Indonesia and manages the Jakarta office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) and New Energies (geothermal, bio energy) sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales target for Indonesia, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products (tonnages, sales price levels, product mix, customers portfolio)
  • Drive the team to achieve the commercial targets per customer in terms of revenue, volume, and product mix for the company’s as per the strategic plan and in consistency with the company's worldwide growth plan
  • Manage and ensure sustainability and competency of the complete commercial organisation (HR and processes)
  • Manage administrative matters of the company’s Jakarta office with the support of the HR
  • Define and implement action plans by customers and achieve product lines profitability and revenue targets (products/services)
  • Build and drive the promotion plan of the company’s abilities and products in Indonesia, defends and promotes local content to end users, stake holders, etc., as per the company’s strategy
  • Identify, prioritise, and take actions to answer key market/customers’ needs
  • Ensure the sales organisation respects internal processes and policies and answers customer tenders in accurately, and in a timely manner and meets customer’s expectations
  • Directly manage the team of outside sales, tech sales and back office to drive revenue growth for product and services in accordance to defined targets
  • Maintain/grow the team capabilities through hiring/orienting/training processes
  • Take direct charge of some key accounts

To succeed in this role, you must have good knowledge of OCTG/oil and gas/geothermal industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from a reputable university
  • Experience in sales, technical sales, negotiations, and customer service.
  • Experience working in a multinational company with an international mindset, ideally with previous assignments abroad
  • Strong network and connections within the OCTG/oil and gas market/geothermal/Indonesia’s regulatory bodies
  • Minimum of 12 - 20 years’ experience working in a related field and five years in a similar role
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia both written and verbally
  • Experience with managing a team of minimum 10 subordinates
  • Based in Jakarta and willing to travel domestically and internationally
  • Strong leadership and team management, can lead and drive the people, and strong business mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
