An attractive National Sales Manager (Factory Automation) job has just opened at a multinational sensor and controls company catering to industrial automation and process applications.

About the National Sales Manager (Factory Automation) Role:
This National Sales (Factory Automation) position is responsible for the achievement of the company goals, including sales targets, product mix, development of customer base and industry spread through a close, open and constructive management of the Sales Team. You will lead the Sales Team towards the achievement of maximum growth and profitability in line with company vision, philosophy, culture and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that a system is in place to sell across the full product range according to the opportunities and targets set
  • Identify issues which are or will affect sales performance, suggest ideas and solutions and then lead and manage towards resolution
  • Generate a stable/safe growing customer base by cross selling products and increasing contacts in key accounts and ensure customer base growth is in accordance with goals set
  • Manage the sales pipeline of important projects, new products and new industries in order to attain sustainable growth
  • Ensure that the right organisational structure of the team is used to obtain the best results
  • Ensure the correct activity, skills and knowledge are used to promote the name and brand, and achieve success

To succeed in this National Sales Manager (Factory Automation) role, you must have excellent knowledge of the factory automation or process industries in Indonesia gained through your experience, as well as a proven track record in building and managing a sales team.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering or Machine Building
  • At least five years' work experience in a similar role for in a daughter company of an international company
  • Fluency in English and Chinese as you will be required to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts
  • Success in sales and leading a sales team
  • Experience in managing people
  • Confident person with strong character
  • Open attitude to challenges
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Team player
  • Embrace change and manage or assist colleagues in this process
  • Independent working style and ability to make decisions
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Proactive problem solver who uses own initiative
