About the Sales Manager (Robotics) Role:
The Sales Manager (Robotics) is responsible for the achievement of the company goals, including sales targets, product mix, development of customer base and industry spread through a close, open and generate leads for sales growth.
- Implement, monitor and review sales and marketing plan
- Explore and Identify for potential new business opportunities and customers both locally and overseas
- Promote company products and system solutions to various industries
- Achieve business plan targets and monthly objectives
- Actively contribute to the performance of the sales department
- Generate leads and market leads for sales growth
- Provide accurate and timely forecast's using the appropriate sales tools and processes and maintain all relevant information about customers, prospects, campaigns and leads
- Establish and maintain good rapport with customers
- Follow up on billing and debt collections
To succeed in this Sales Manager (Robotics) role, you must have excellent knowledge of robotics applied in automation for the consumer goods industry.
- At least a diploma, advanced/higher/graduate diploma, bachelor's degree, postgraduate diploma, professional degree, engineering (electrical/electronics), engineering (mechatronic/electromechanical) or equivalent
- Experience in automation sales
- Knowledge in robotic applications or other automated systems is an advantage
- A proactive and resourceful individual with excellent negotiation, communications, and motivation skills
- Ability to communicate concisely, verbally and in writing, in English
- Willingness to travel outstation/overseas at short notices
- Ability to work under pressure, long hours and on weekends (if necessary)
- Team player but also capable to work independently
- A good sense of time management and strong customer focus
