An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategic leader to join the company's team as the Head of Business for our expanding Hotel Chain / Online Travel Agency (OTA) company. This role requires a dynamic and hands-on professional with deep expertise in the OTA industry and a proven track record of successfully building new business from the ground up. The ideal candidate will also have valuable experience in the hospitality sector.

What you'll do:

As a Head of New Business, you will be at the key of driving data-driven decision-makings, navigate new business in Indonesia. Your role extends beyond mere numbers; you will be instrumental in defining our business KPIs, business intelligence and insight, be the data-business partner to deliver actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. Your leadership skills will shine as you inspire, motivate, and coach your team while managing various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demand and Supply Generation: Drive strategic initiatives to balance demand and supply to meet business objectives and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Building New Business: Take a hands-on approach to identify, nurture, and scale new business ventures within the OTA and hospitality sectors, taking them from concept to execution.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies that ensure a competitive edge and align with overall business goals.
  • Revenue and Growth Management: Lead initiatives aimed at increasing demand, expanding supply, and boosting overall revenue. Identify market trends and growth areas to ensure sustained business growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the OTA industry, specifically in a strategic role.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling new business ventures from the ground up, with a hands-on approach.
  • Additional experience in the hospitality industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Data-driven with a clear understanding of market dynamics, customer behaviour, and business trends.
