Our client is seeking a National Key Account Manager (Modern Trade - FMCG) to lead and drive all sub-channels within Modern Trade nationwide, including Minimarkets, Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, and MT Independents. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing long-term strategies to align with company objectives, managing key accounts, and ensuring financial targets are met across Modern Trade and E-commerce channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all sub-channels within Modern Trade across Indonesia

  • Manage the Route to Market for both Modern Trade and E-commerce

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with company goals

  • Drive effective key account management by collaborating with distributors to optimize trading terms and maximize results

  • Work closely with distributor sales teams to ensure excellence in four key aspects: distribution expansion, product merchandising, on-shelf availability, and promotion execution

  • Plan, direct, and monitor key account activities and campaigns to achieve sales and market share targets

  • Identify and address channel challenges and opportunities

  • Develop and execute initiatives to enhance territory and channel performance

What You Bring:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales, trade marketing, or key account management

  • Proven experience as a National Key Account Manager or Head of Modern Trade handling multiple key accounts

  • Strong experience in distributor management and Modern Trade retail operations

  • Advantageous to have experience in managing online/e-commerce business

  • Excellent networking skills within Modern Trade retailers and distributors

  • Fluency in both local language and English
