Sales Director (Footwear)

What you'll do:
You will work closely with regional leadership to develop sales strategy, identify new market opportunities, and support product innovation tailored to the Indonesian market. - Build and develop a high-performing sales organisation by fostering the right structure, capabilities, and culture necessary for current achievements and future expansion.
- Represent the company at senior-level industry events as well as key client engagements to enhance brand credibility and strengthen overall market presence.
- Analyse emerging market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to adapt strategies that ensure sustained leadership within the sector.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts along with actionable market insights that inform both regional and global decision-making processes.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to support organisational goals.

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in senior management or director positions overseeing large teams is mandatory.
- Demonstrated track record in business development, key account management, and consistently achieving or surpassing challenging sales targets is crucial.
- Strong commercial acumen including hands-on experience with contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and managing complex client relationships is expected.
- Technical knowledge of footwear materials such as midsoles, textiles or adhesives is highly valued for this role.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities combined with negotiation prowess and polished presentation skills are vital; familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce is advantageous.
- Proficiency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English is mandatory; additional fluency in Chinese would be advantageous
