Country Manager
An international market leader in capital equipment is looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Country Manager to lead its operations in Indonesia.
Our client is a globally established organisation headquartered in Europe, with a strong regional presence and a reputation for excellence in Printing solutions. However, this opportunity is open to candidates from any capital equipment background, including packaging machinery, food & beverage processing equipment, or industrial machinery.
This is a strategic leadership role, responsible for managing a skilled local team and overseeing sales, service, finance, and operations across Indonesia. The successful candidate will report to Cluster Management
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end operations of the Indonesia office, covering sales, service, parts, finance, and administration.
Manage customer relationships and drive business development initiatives across the territory.
Collaborate with regional and global teams on key account management and complex project execution.
Ensure smooth service delivery and operational excellence through team leadership and cross-functional coordination.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Execute market research initiatives and increase brand visibility in the region.
Oversee major equipment installations, relocations, and technical project delivery.
Ensure full compliance with local regulations and internal company policies.
Drive staff development through performance reviews, coaching, and training plans.
Domestic and occasional international travel required.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years in a managerial or team leadership role.
Background in capital equipment sales – ideally in printing, packaging, F&B processing, or industrial machinery.
Strong commercial acumen with a solid technical understanding – or vice versa.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
A proactive and hands-on leadership style with the ability to drive results.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and spoken.
Proficient in Excel; knowledge of CRM/ERP systems is a plus.
