What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager (Mining Chemicals), your role will be multifaceted. You will be responsible for understanding production engineering and utilities systems while also generating appointments with both existing and potential customers. Your ability to develop a sales pyramid in CRM will be crucial to your success. You will work closely with customers to maintain and grow sales within your assigned territory. Your problem-solving skills will come into play as you engage in system analysis, interpret data, provide written recommendations, create value propositions, provide technical recommendations, and meet sales targets.

  • Understanding of production engineering and utilities system
  • Generating appointments with both existing and prospective customers
  • Developing a sales pyramid in CRM, lead follow-up and proposal generation for the sale of Capital, injection skid and dosing equipment, mobile, Service Contracts and Expendables
  • Closing sales by generating and executing sales plans in assigned territory
  • Working closely with current and prospective customers to maintain and grow sales within assigned territory
  • Evaluating all revenue generating opportunities within a customer or prospect and making proposals as appropriate
  • Engaging in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels
  • Creating and reaching customer agreement on value propositions that focus on our competitive advantage derived from our broad product portfolio
  • Providing effective technical recommendations to resolve operational issues and generate reports documenting the value of our equipment & services
  • Meeting sales targets by meeting or exceeding key metrics for revenue, account retention & profitability

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Business Development Manager (Mining Chemicals) position brings a wealth of skills to the table. With a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy under your belt, you possess good knowledge of the mining market in Indonesia. Your 5 years or more working experience in sales/business development catering to the mining or mineral processing industry has equipped you with the necessary skills to excel in this role.
