What you'll do:

As a National Sales Manager, your role will be instrumental in propelling the company's success across Indonesia. You will be tasked with developing a comprehensive national sales strategy that aligns with the company's broader business objectives. Your exceptional leadership skills will be put to good use as you oversee Regional Sales Managers, ensuring they execute these strategies effectively. Additionally, you will conduct market research to uncover new opportunities for growth while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.   • Craft and execute a national sales strategy that aligns with overall business goals.
  • Establish and monitor sales targets for the entire sales force.
  • Guide and mentor Regional Sales Managers to ensure cohesive execution of sales strategies.
  • Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the national sales team.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitor trends.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), regulatory authorities, and distributors.
  • Represent the company at national and international pharmaceutical conferences and trade shows.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical sales practices and regulatory guidelines.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the National Sales Manager position brings a wealth of experience in pharmaceutical sales along with a solid educational background in pharmacy or life sciences. With at least 10 years of experience under your belt, you have demonstrated your ability to manage nationwide sales operations successfully. Your proficiency in English will enable effective communication within an international team. Preferred qualifications include experience in launching new products, a strong network within the pharmaceutical sector, and a deep understanding of industry trends and regulatory requirements. Your financial acumen and familiarity with CRM tools will be valuable assets in this role.

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, life sciences, or a related field; Master Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a proven track record of managing nationwide sales operations.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in launching new products and entering new markets is preferred.
  • Strong network with key opinion leaders (KOLs), distributors, and regulatory bodies in the pharmaceutical sector is advantageous.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry trends and regulatory requirements is desired.
  • Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and profit margin analysis is beneficial.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms is favourable.
