Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Country Representative with a focus on sales. This role will primarily involve establishing the market in Indonesia for dietary ingredients, including healthy oil and proprietary ingredients. The position offers the flexibility of remote or/ hybrid work, with the representative reporting to the Managing Director based in Taiwan. English language proficiency is essential for this role.

  • Establishing the market in Indonesia for dietary ingredients
  • Managing sales to manufacturers of dietary supplements and branded owners
  • Handling distribution of health oil and proprietary ingredients

What you'll do:

As a Country Representative (Sales), your primary responsibility will be to penetrate the Indonesian market with our client's dietary ingredients. You will manage sales to various customers, including manufacturers of dietary supplements and brand owners manufacture. Additionally, you will handle the distribution of product and proprietary ingredients. Despite working remotely or in a hybrid setting, you are expected to maintain discipline and report regularly.

  • Build and establish the company’s presence in Indonesia
  • Manage sales to two types of customers: Manufacturers of dietary supplements (e.g., powder, drinks, jelly) and Brand owners manufacture
  • Handle proprietary ingredients distribution
  • Operate remotely while staying disciplined, reporting regularly

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Country Representative (Sales) role brings proven experience in dietary supplements sales, food ingredients sales, or food chemicals sales. Your strong interpersonal skills will be crucial in building relationships with clients and expanding our client's presence in Indonesia. Despite working remotely or in a hybrid setting, your ability to work independently and stay disciplined is vital. Excellent communication skills are required for this role, particularly proficiency in English.
