A global leader in logistics is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager (Freight Forwarding) to lead efforts in expanding their sea and air freight sales operations. This position presents an exciting opportunity to drive business growth, build strong client relationships, and exceed sales targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess exceptional organizational and negotiation skills.

What you'll do:

As the Sales Manager, you will be a key player in expanding the company’s freight forwarding services. Your role involves identifying opportunities, achieving sales growth, and delivering exceptional service to clients.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets for GP and volume growth in alignment with KPIs.
  • Foster long-term client relationships by delivering high-quality services that drive customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create and execute business expansion plans for improved conversion rates.
  • Participate in local RFQs, working closely with pricing and product teams to ensure timely and competitive submissions.
  • Oversee new business implementation, including agreements, service performance, and business improvements.
  • Utilize CRM tools to plan and manage daily sales activities effectively.
  • Address credit control matters as required.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to track progress and outcomes.

What You Bring:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in freight forwarding, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel in both independent and team settings.

  • Minimum of 6 years in sea and air freight forwarding, with a strong focus on business development and key account management.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Logistics Management or a related field.
  • Has proven leadership, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English is essential.
  • Self-motivated, analytical, and capable of solving problems effectively.
