An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Business Area Manager (Instrumentation) to join a dynamic team in Jakarta. This role offers the chance to oversee the overall operations and management of the Process Analytics division, taking ownership for the formulation and direction of the division's growth strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing projects and plans, managing the division's P&L, and driving a profitable performance. What you'll do:

As a Business Area Manager (Instrumentation), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the overall operations of our Process Analytics division. Your primary responsibility will be to formulate and direct the division's growth strategy, ensuring its alignment with agreed country development strategies. You will also ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and values across all operational activities. Your role will involve supporting marketing campaigns, maintaining relationships with existing customers while developing new ones, providing regular performance reports, and managing the Sales team. You will also establish new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning sales call schedules.

  • Plan and manage the division according to agreed country development strategies
  • Ensure compliance to policies, procedures, and values in all areas of operational activity
  • Support the delivery of all marketing campaigns
  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions
  • Provide periodic reports on performance of the division against set targets
  • Monitor and provide guidance on the development of qualified customer database for targeted segments
  • Support the design and execution of all marketing campaigns, leads generation, and management activities
  • Manage the Sales team in qualifying database and updating CRM
  • Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedules

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Area Manager (Instrumentation) role will have a degree in Science, Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree in Business Administration would be advantageous. You should have the ability to develop and execute business strategies and plans, as well as read and understand basic financial reports. With at least 10 years' experience in a technical sales environment with extensive supervision experience, you should have an understanding of sales & distribution along with sound project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability are essential.

  • Degree preferably in Science, Engineering or related field
  • Master in Business Administration will be an advantage
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies and plans
  • Ability to read & understand basic financial reports
  • Minimum 10 years working experience in a Technical sales Environment with extensive supervision experience
  • Understanding of sales & distribution with sound project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability
