Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales and business development for their Workplace Infrastructure Products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of country-specific medical business strategies, manage a network of professional sales channel partners, and lead a team to support their sales channel strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales and profit targets, developing plans, strategies, and KPIs to achieve these targets, and providing strategic leadership to account managers.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of country-specific medical business strategies

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be driving sales for Workplace Infrastructure Products. You will develop comprehensive plans, strategies, and KPIs to meet revenue and profit targets. Your role will involve monitoring market trends, competitor products, and activities while maintaining an updated knowledge of company products and services. You will also collaborate with internal departments to facilitate customer need fulfillment. Your excellent communication skills will be crucial in understanding customer needs and explaining product value. Additionally, you will collect and analyze data to gain insights into consumer behavior.

  • Developing plans, strategies and KPIs (monthly, quarterly) to achieve revenue and profit targets
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor products and activities
  • Providing strategic leadership and execution direction to the account manager and project coordinator
  • Exploring and engaging with new channel partners to optimize account performance
  • Collaborating with internal departments to facilitate customer need fulfillment
  • Maintaining updated knowledge of company products and services
  • Communicating with customers to understand their needs and explain product value
  • Collecting and analyzing data to learn more about consumer behavior

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager position brings a wealth of experience in sales leadership. You have proven experience managing distributors and leading a sales organization. Experience in Key Account management is preferred but not essential. Your ability to organize and prioritize independently will be key in this role. You are comfortable working in a team environment and possess professional communication and presentation skills. Knowledge of hospital or healthcare group purchasing practices would be advantageous. English language proficiency at negotiation level is required.

  • Experience in managing distributors and leading a sales organization
  • Experience in Key Account management is preferred
