About the Head of Sales (Plumbing and Drainage System) Role: The Head of Sales (Plumbing and Drainage System) leads the sales strategy and execution for a multinational piping manufacturer. This role involves achieving revenue and profit targets, expanding market reach, establishing distribution channels, and catering to project-based clientele in the building industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet annual revenue and profit goals
Utilise consultative selling methods to secure high-value projects
Plan, implement, and oversee sales and marketing activities
Explore new market segments and cross-selling opportunities
Establish and nurture distribution channels to ensure product availability
Monitor distribution partner performance and resolve issues
Research client requirements and competitor products and pricing
Identify opportunities for product improvements and innovation
Provide guidance to local sales staff through effective monitoring and planning
Define targets, evaluate performance, and foster a high-performance culture
Use CRM tools for client database management, project tracking, showroom equipment, and marketing activities
Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in the building industry, including developers, architects, designers, MEP consultants, plumbers, and contractors
Leverage a strong background in sanitary or piping products within the building material industry
Demonstrate deep knowledge of drainage and plumbing systems
To be successful in this Head of Sales (Plumbing and Drainage System) position, you will need to have expertise in sanitary and piping products with a strong background in drainage and plumbing systems.
Key Requirements:
Bachelors degree in a related field
Proven track record in catering to building industry projects
10 years' commercial experience in the building material industry, preferably with a focus on sanitary and piping products
Strong background in drainage and plumbing systems
Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
Creative thinking and a high level of maturity
Readiness to travel within the country
